Labour Party factional national chairman, Julius Abure, says the party under his leadership is not a trouble maker.

Abure made this statement on Wednesday while fielding questions in an interview on Arise Television.

He was reacting to the recent ruling of the Court of Appeal, which dismissed his suit and recognized Nenadi Usman as the authentic national chairman of the party.

Abure also affirmed that he and his loyalists will go to the Supreme Court to challenge the ruling of the appellate court.

Recall that the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, in a unanimous judgement delivered by a three-member panel of Justices, dismissed the appeal filed by Abure challenging the leadership of the Labour Party.

Reacting, Abure said, “I am not the one re-litigating on what the Supreme Court litigated upon. Sen Nanadi Usman is the one who went back to the Federal High Court.

“We only appealed against the judgment of the Federal High Court, and we are already preparing to go to the Supreme Court.

“Nigerians must know that the Labour Party under my leadership is not the trouble-makers of the party.”
