War: Again, Trump extends ceasefire with Iran
United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that he would indefinitely extend the current ceasefire with Iran.
In a post on his Truth Social, Trump stated that he would continue a US naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as talks continue.
According to him, Pakistani mediators have asked the US to hold their (US) attack until Iranian officials can come up with a unified proposal.
“I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other,” Trump wrote.
This extension is coming a few hours after Trump told CNBC he did not want to extend the ceasefire and threatened to continue bombing.
