NNPCL reduces fuel price three days after Dangote Refinery’s cut

Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, retail outlets have reduced their petrol price significantly after Dangote refinery’s gantry fuel price drop.

Checks on Monday showed that the state-owned oil firm’s filling stations in Abuja adjusted their prices down to N1,295 per liter from N1,361.

This means that NNPCL retail outlets dropped their petrol price by N71 per liter.

This comes three days after Dangote Refinery reduced its petrol gantry price by N85 to N1,200 per liter from N1,285.

Meanwhile, Dangote-backed MRS filling station is yet to reduce its retail fuel pump price (N1,367 per liter) as of the time of filling this report.

Also, Ranoil, Empire Energy, Emedab, and Total filling stations have not reviewed their prices downward and are currently dispensing petrol between N1370 and N1395 per liter.
