EFCC operatives take over Malami’s Abuja house
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday took over the Abuja residence of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, in Maitama.
Led by Folarin Dare, EFCC operatives arrived in at least five buses and immediately barricaded the road leading to the property at No. 2 Koranakh Close, sealing off access to the estate.
Sources say the move is connected to an ongoing investigation into alleged financial improprieties during Malami’s tenure as AGF.
While details remain sparse, the EFCC action is understood to form part of efforts to enforce a court order linked to the probe.
