Presco Plc Appoints Ademola Adebise to Board as Independent Non-Executive Director

Presco Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Ademola Adebise as an Independent Non-Executive Director, filling a casual vacancy on its Board of Directors until the next Annual General Meeting.

The company disclosed the development in a formal notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and its stakeholders on October 2, 2025. Mr. Adebise brings over 33 years of experience across information technology, treasury, risk management, financial control, strategic planning, and corporate banking.

He previously served as Managing Director and CEO of Wema Bank, where he led the creation of Africa’s first digital bank, ALAT. His boardroom experience includes roles at AIICO Pension Managers, FITC, NIBSS, and Great Nigeria Insurance Plc. He currently serves on the boards of AIICO Capital, AIICO Insurance, and FCMB Group Plc, and chairs Family Homes Fund Limited.

A Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Mr. Adebise is also affiliated with several other professional bodies.
