Kaduna: Again Unknown Gunmen Strike In Kauru LGA, Kills 1, Abduct 5

In another tragic attacks, Unknown armed gunmen have reportedly struck Binawa community, Kauru LGA of kaduna state, killing one person and abducted five others including village head.

Already, the Binawa Community Development Association (BIDA), has strongly condemned the “Attack on Binawa Community in Kauru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, which occurred in the early hours of Wednesday’.

This tragic incident perpetrated by unknown gunmen, has led to the killing of one innocent person, kidnapping of five community members, and left many others in pepertual fear and distress, according to statement signed BIDA National President, Mr. Istifanus Danjuma Makoshi and PRO, Comrade Garba Victor Binawa.

“The attack, which took place between 2:00 AM and 3:30 AM, resulted in the brutal killing of one Mr. Mani Ali Maikomo.

“Furthermore, five individuals were abducted including Mr. Dauda Danjuma Makoshi, Mrs. Kande Dauda Makoshi, Village Head Mazuga Sale, Paul Musa Gombe and Solomon Jonah Dangata Binawa (who later escaped with injuries).

‘This act of violence is not just an attack on the victims and their families but on the peace and stability of the entire Binawa community”, it stated.

BIDA called on the Kaduna State Government, security agencies, and all relevant authorities to take urgent and decisive action to secure the immediate and safe release of those abducted, bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.

“Increase security presence in Binawa and other vulnerable communities to prevent further attacks.

“The frequency of attacks in Kauru LGA is deeply concerning, and we demand a stronger commitment from the government to protect lives and property.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mr. Mani Ali Maikomo and stand in solidarity with all those affected. We also pray for the swift recovery of Mr. Solomon Jonah and the safe return of the kidnapped individuals.

“The Binawa Community Development Association remains committed to advocating for peace, security, and justice for our people. We urge all community members to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies in efforts to restore peace”, it lamented.
