Two suspects In Police Net Over Alleged Sodomy In Bauchi

Two suspects, a shop keeper, Aminu Musa, 41 years old of Sabon Garin Narabi, Toro local government area and a scavenger, Adamu Abdullahi 38 years old of Bauchi metropolis have been arrested by the police over alleged Sodomy.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bauchi state Police command, CSP Ahmed Wakil who made this known in a crime bulletin yesterday, said Aminu Musa was arrested on December 30, 2024 following a complaint filed at Tilden Fulani Divisional Police Headquarters in Toro local government area of Bauchi state.
According to him, the suspect, Aminu Musa was allegedly engaged in unnatural sexual activity with an 11-year-old boy (name withheld for privacy).
The suspect allegedly lured the boy into his room, located adjacent to a shop where he worked as a shopkeeper and had canal knowledge with him on several occasions.
The PPRO stated that upon receiving the report, police officers from Tilden Fulani Divisional Police Headquarters were dispatched to the scene and arrested the suspect.
He disclosed that the suspect who confessed to the crime and revealed how he manipulated the victim, explained that he frequently lured the victim with food to perpetrate the evil act.
He also confessed to using money ranging from N100 N200 and N300 on several occasions to convince him to engage in sodomy with him.
CSP Wakil further said the other suspect, Adamu Abdullahi was arrested on December 31, 2024 following a complaint lodged at ‘B’ Divisional Police Headquarters, GRA Bauchi.
He said the complaint had it that on December 28, 2024, at around 10:00 hours, the suspect aged 38, a businessman dealing in metal scrap, also known as “Baban Bola,” encountered his 10-year-old child (name withheld for privacy) while he was hawking and engaged in the evil act with him.
“The suspect intimidated the victim, directed him to enter an uncompleted building, and forcefully had canal knowledge of him”, Police said.
CSP Wakil explained that upon receiving the report, detectives from the Division were dispatched to the scene and got the suspect arrested immediately.
The PPRO said that the suspect confessed to the crime freely during interrogation.
