Tinubu’s Aide, Nweze Seeks Support Of S-East Govs To Unite, Dev. Region

The senior special assistant to the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria on Community Engagement, South East, Mrs Chioma Nweze at the weekend vowed to champion the development, unity and progress of the region.
Nweze, however revealed the preparedness of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to tackle all the economic and developmental challenges facing the south east region.
She made this known in 2025 new year message to the citizens of the south east region, which was signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki capital of Ebonyi State.
The statement reads in part: “As we step into the New Year, I extend warmest greetings to the resilient and vibrant people of the South East. May this year bring us renewed hope, strength, and unity.
“The past year has presented its challenges, but together, we have demonstrated our capacity for resilience and determination. As your Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement, I reaffirm my commitment to amplifying your voices and championing the development of our beloved region.
“We will continue to work tirelessly to address the unique challenges facing our region. From infrastructure development to economic empowerment, education, and healthcare, we are dedicated to creating opportunities that benefit all.
“In continuation of our pursuit of regional development, I will maintain a strong partnership with leaders and stakeholders across the South East. This includes collaborating with the five esteemed Governors of our zone, as well as engaging with respected leaders of thought, student organizations, and other critical stakeholders.
“Through these collaborative efforts, we aim to harness the collective wisdom and energy of our people to drive progress and prosperity. I urge you all to remain united in our pursuit of a brighter future for the South East.
“Let us foster a spirit of cooperation, mutual respect, and understanding. Together, we can achieve greatness and solidify the South East’s position as a beacon of excellence in Nigeria.
“Once again, I wish you all a joyous and prosperous New Year. May our collective efforts yield fruitful results, and may our region continue to thrive” she stressed.
