Abakaliki Rice Mile Chair Declares Era Of Bushel Under-Measurement Gone

Comrade Linus Obeji, the Chairman of Abakaliki Rice Mile said yesterday that the era of under measurement of rice is no longer obtainable in Ebonyi state rice Mile industry.

Speaking to journalists at a press conference held at the Abakaliki Rice Mile company located at Onu Ebonyi, Abakaliki, the state capital, Comrade Obeji emphasized that measures have been put in place to ensure that all rice bushels are accurately measured and weighed before being sold to customers.

Obeji said the decision was made in order to maintain the company’s integrity and ensure that customers receive fair value for their purchases.

According to Comrade Obeji,” Any staff members found to be involved in under-measurement will face disciplinary action, including possible termination” he added.

Comrade Obeji urged customers to report any instances of under-measurement to the management so that appropriate action can be taken promptly.

He also reassured customers that the quality of rice produced at Abakaliki Rice Mile will continue to meet the highest standards.

Abakalike rice Mile chair further called for collaboration among all stakeholders in the rice Mile industry to eradicate unethical practices and promote transparency in the company.
