Governor Bago approves the construction of 44KM road from Lemu-Kateregi under RAMP project

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, of Niger state in continuation of his state wide tour has approved the construction of the 44 km road from Lemu,headquarters of Gbako Local Government Area of the State to Kateregi community in Katcha Local Government.
The Governor gave the approval at Lemu, Headquarters of Gbako Local Government Area while addressing the people.
He explained that the project would be executed under the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) and that when completed, movement of farm produce to market and other basic facilities will be made easy.
The Governor further said the State Government under the Niger Foods would farm on both sides of the road in its bid to feed the nation.
He reiterated that his administration is determined to ensure that the food security agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is realised.
