Luis Diaz Reportedly Agrees Personal Terms with Bayern Munich
Liverpool winger Luis Diaz is reportedly on the verge of a move to Bayern Munich, having reached an agreement on personal terms with the Bundesliga giants. This is according to German publication BILD, which reported the development amid ongoing speculation over the Colombian forward’s future.
Diaz, who joined Liverpool in 2023, has been a consistent performer for the Reds, playing a vital role in their 2024/25 Premier League title win. Across 36 league appearances, the 27-year-old registered 13 goals and five assists, proving instrumental on the left flank under the club’s new manager, Arne Slot.
While Diaz remains under contract at Anfield, reports suggest he is open to exploring a new challenge. Bayern’s interest intensified following an injury to Jamal Musiala during the FIFA Club World Cup, prompting the German champions to identify Diaz as a key target for reinforcement ahead of the upcoming season.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been active in the transfer market, already securing the signings of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez. Wirtz is seen as a potential replacement should Diaz leave, given his versatility and attacking prowess.
As of now, no official transfer deal has been announced between the clubs, but the agreement on personal terms points to a potentially significant development in Diaz’s future. Whether Liverpool will sanction a move remains to be seen, but the situation is evolving quickly as Bayern continue their summer rebuild.
