Nigeria Police Arrest Two Suspects with Firearms in Bosso Division

The Nigeria police force, operation flush team from Bosso Division have arrested two suspects for being in possession of firearms
Astatement by the police public Relation officer Niger state command ( PPRO) SP Wasiu Abiodun, issued and obtained by the Abuja post in minna ,said the suspects were arrested by the operatives of operation flush who were on routine stop and search at Imrat junction Bosso.
The team according to the statement intercepted a motor cycle conveying two persons coming from Dutsen kura to jimi village Bosso
SP Wasiu Abiodun, said the passengers were subjected to a search from where one locally made pistol with three live ammunition were recovered from the suspects whose names are Jamilu Babangida and Abubakar shehu ,all of jimi village.
The exhibits according to PPRO in his statement were concealed in a bag belonging to jamilu who claimed to have bought the pistol from one Baduke in Bature Numa village via Kontagora at the rate of forty thousand naira while the three ammunition were purchased at the rate of two thousand naira each.
Seven assorted charms according to the statement by the PPRO were also recovered from the said jamilu. Jamilu,said that both the pistol and charms were for his personal protection
The suspects are under further investigations as at the time of filing this report.
