MultiChoice Nigeria has announced an increase in subscription fees for its DStv and GOtv services, effective March 1, 2025.

The adjustment follows rising operational costs and the depreciation of the naira.

For DStv subscribers, the Compact bouquet will rise from N15,700 to N19,000, while the Compact Plus package will increase to N30,000 from N25,000. The Premium package will cost N44,500, up from N37,000.

GOtv users will also see price hikes: the Jinja package will increase from N3,600 to N3,900, Jolli from N4,850 to N5,800, Max from N7,200 to N8,500, Supa from N9,600 to N11,400, and Supa Plus from N15,700 to N16,800.

“This is to enable us to continue to offer our customers world-class home-grown and international content, delivered through the best technology,” the company said in its notice to customers.

The latest adjustments follow a similar price increase in May 2024, with MultiChoice citing inflation and economic pressures as contributing factors.
