Niger State To Establish Yam processing Factory In Paikoro LGA. – Gov. Bago

Governor Umar Muhammed Bago of Niger state has expressed his government readiness to establish yam Processing factory in Paiko to boost thier business activities and enhance the economic stature of the people in the local government.
Governor Bago stated this when he paid a visit to the people of the area as part of his ongoing familiarisation tour in the state to monitor the ongoing projects his government has embarked upon.
“The people of PAIKORO who are predominantly yam farmers deserve to have a modern yam Processing factory to process the commodities which will enhance their economic well-being in the area and my government will not relent untill he see this project is achieved””.
On the fifty capacity bed hospital by senator Muhammed Sani Musa of Niger East, the governor said his government will extend it to hundred bed capacity and convert the hospital to General Hospital to move health facility closer to the people in the area.
In his remark the chairman of PAIKORO Local GovernmentMr Aminu Yandai appreciated the effort of the governor in tackling the security challenges of the area and provide a conducive atmosphere for economic activities to strive in the local government.
He then appealed to the government to extend the five kilometer roads to 2k kilometer to boost the easy movement of goods and services in the area.
My Yaundai therefore explained that as local government chairman, he will key in the laudable policies of Bago led government that has direct bearing on his people in the local government.
” I support him hundred percent and will follow his food step to transform PAIKORO Local government and I have build 3 block of classroom and computer centres to make our children computer literate”.
Some political figures in both state and at the federal level in the PAIKORO Local Government area witnessed the occasion.
Governor Umar Bago also commissioned ICT CENTRE built by the Chairman of PAIKORO Local government Mr Aminu Umar Yandayi as well as three class rooms and other rural electrification project in the local government council.
