Bauchi’s Yoruba Community Congratulates New Alaafin Of Oyo, Attributes His Emergence To Act Of God

The Yoruba Community in Bauchi State has congratulated Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade over his recent emergence as the New Alaafin of Oyo.
Alhaji Tirimisiyu Tijani Adegoke, the Oba of Yoruba in Bauchi who made the congratulations in a press statement on Tuesday, described the emergence of the New Alaafin as an act sanctioned by God.
Oba Tirimisiyu Adegoke enjoined those that contended with the New Alaafin to cooperate and work with him towards moving Oyo forward.
“I felicitate and congratulate the new Alaafin of Oyo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade on his ascension to the throne of his forefathers, and I have a strong hope that his enthronement will bring good tidings and prosperity to the people of Oyo town Insha Allah”, he said.
The Oba of Yoruba in Bauchi expressed optimisms that the Alaafin has the creativity, capacity, capability and commitment to transform the lives of his people and move Oyo town forward.
He enjoined his contenders to accept the will of God by cooperating with the newly appointed Alaafin to move Oyo land forward, adding that only God Almighty enthrones.
“It is certain that in every contest or in the quest to fill any vacant position, there will be diverse interests/opinions but at the end of the day a truce must be found, and there must be a winner”, he emphasized.
Recalled that the Newly appointed Alaafin was presented with certificate of office by the Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde on Monday at the Oyo State Government House in Agodi, Ibadan, the state capital.
Prince Owoade was announced on Friday by the state Government as the Alaafin-elect, to succeed late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, the 44th Alaafin of Oyo, who passed on two years ago.
