Kaduna: EddiCare Foundation Place Blind, Students, Others On Salary, Scholarship

In a captivating revelation, an emerging Non-Governmental Organization known as EddiCare Foundation bent on placing less privileged people on salary, including the blind has been unveiled.

The Foundation temporarily located in Angwan Romi community in Kaduna state also extend the good gesture to poor parental students with scholarship award for their studies.

Speaking to our correspondent in Kaduna, the Chairman and Founder of the Foundation, Egli Isaac Emmanuel said his motivation spring up out of love for humanity and for the underprivileged people in the society.

“Especially for those who cannot have access to the standard of livings the society envisaged, and who are deprived of their right to good things of life. We started out of compassion and love for humanity.

“i told my pastor the slogan or motto of my foundation should be “bridging the gap between humanity and poverty”. Because I discovered that out of poverty man can do anything, you can even sell your soul to the devil because of poverty.

“Bridging the gap between humanity and poverty for humanity to have sense of reason. That was how we started the journey of the Care movement. We’ve not been able to secure any funding yet. Out of what God gives us we give to the people.

“We started when I was in Port Harcourt as a Barber. I was doing it with my mother in the Lord Prophetess Christy Ndubisi where I served as a minister, as residents Pastor in Ibruta. Sometimes I’ll give her money to go to orphanage and doing it like that.

“When God started blessing me I said let me pursue this course like that. We started last year second February which was suppose to be my birthday, so we use that medium to present the EddiCare Foundation to the people in the society.
“By so doing we were able to gain the love of the people. Since that time God has been helping us and we’ve been there trying to bridge that gap between poverty and humanity in our community.

“In February 2019, I started going out with my prophetess in P/Harcourt and started given to people donations after doing town service, and Barbing until February second 2023, when we finally launch EddiCare Foundation.

“Before then I was working with other NGOs, before we finally come with our own, using them to donate. Since then we’ve worked in Benue state and in Kaduna State where we’ve handle so many projects like EddiCare competition, and feedings when we went to Muslim community at kano road and eat together with them, and it was great”, he said.

On challenges, he said “Mobility was an issue, families have been supporting but not enough. We went into agricultural farming and transport business. We have students we’ve pushed to schools and we cannot afford to abandon the but through prayer i believe God will do it.

“We give scholarship to the Students in P/Harcourt, Kaduna, Benue. We took responsibility of a girl who was impregnates and abandon in community. Took her to hospital. We have people we put on salary like the blind.

“We have other people we put on salary including a blind man in our community. A woman who lost a daughter, cultists burnt down houses including her own. We put them on salary.

“Sometimes the monies will not be there to pay them, so default. When I’ve money sometimes we pay them in advanced of two to three months ahead. That’s how God has been helping us. Igili Isaac Emmanuel explained.
