Chuba Okadigbo Airport Records Safet Landing Of 22 Flights In One Month

…..as Israel Abia, Oguja pilgrims to be lifted in Ebonyi, February

The Chuba Okadigbo international airport, Onueke Ezza South local government area has in one month recorded a safe landing of twenty two flights operations.

……. reports that the leadership of the Nigeria Christian pilgrims commission, NCPC, visited the Chuba Okadigbo’s international airport and promised to lift Israel pilgrims in Ebonyi airport by February 2025.

The commissioner for Aviation and transport technology, Mrs Ngozi Obichukwu made this known while addressing the former governor of Ebonyi State and minister of works, David Umahi among other stakeholders during a Christmas Homage at his country home in Uburu community Ohaozara LGA.

She expressed gratitude to the former governor, David Umahi for the establishment of the Chuba Okadigbo airport, and as well, to the state governor, Francis Nwifuru for the rehabilitation of the airport runway to be of international standard, which according to her paved the way for the safe landing of 22 flights in the state.

According to the commissioner, Obichukwu: “The truth must be said, all the regulatory bodies in aviation have attest that the Chuba Okadigbo airport is the best and safest airport in Nigeria.

“We are here to tell you that we are grateful, those of us that you employed, about six hundred of them including the guards, cleaners are all here to say thank you.

“Our promise is that we will maintain the safety in the airport. You will not see us wonton. The only thing we are begging is for you to help us also, so that we will be having night flights.

“Within the 24th of November and December, we have recorded safe landing of twenty two flights. We are pleading that you assist us to secure the approval that we have been seeking for. We have approval now to operate from 8am to 6pm daily.

“We have now a world class international airport and as I speak with you, the national pilgrimage visited the airport, and however promised to lift Israel pilgrims in February 2025 from Chuba Okadigbo airport. They will lift the Abia, Oguja pilgrims from Ebonyi airport” she stated.
