Acting Provost Receives Supports from Colleagues, Members of Staff

The entire workforce of the Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, have congratulated the Acting Provost of the College, Mallam Jimoh Olasunkanmi Ibrahim on his recent elevation following.

The workers declared ” Mallam Jimoh Olasunkanmi Ibrahim be assured our support at all times”

This development followed the expiration of tenure of the former Provost of the College, Dr. Abdulrauf Aliyu Alabi and his Deputy, Dr. Nda Ishiaku.

The new helsman Mallam Jimoh Olasunkanmi Ibrahim was the immediate past Deputy Provost (Academics) before his new status.

Speaking while on a courtesy call on the new Provost ,Mrs. Christianah Bamidele, HOD Community Health acknowledged the extensive experience in Health Education of the Acting Provost, commitment, hardwork and sense of duty all these while in the College,

She went on “He is fit for the position and job in all honesty” added th academician .

“Mallam Jimoh Olasunkanmi Ibrahim is a core professional, administrator, disciplinarian and workaholic that will take the College to a commendable heights”.

In his own remarks, the HOD Public Health, Mrs. G.O Akande advised the Acting Provost, Mallam Jimoh Ibrahim to lead by example, be very patient and listening, encourage an open door policy that will embrace accountability and transparency to enhance feedback in his regime.

The Head of Departments of Public Health, Dental Technology, Community Health and Pharmacy & others assured the Acting Provost of their elastic support, commitment and service delivery that will propel the College.

They as well assured Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq that the College is in a very safe hands of the Acting Provost and the Registrar, Alhaji Soliudeen Babatunde.

According to them the College is well positioned to continue to deliver on its mandate” just as they assured the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Ronke Arinde of harmonious working relationship with all and sundry in taking the citadel of knowledge to its rightful place in the comity of higher institutions in the country.

.Mrs. Roseline Bolanle Ogundele HOD, Dental Technology and other HODs prayed that the tenure of the Acting Provost will be prosperous, peaceful and most rewarding in the annals of the College existence and growth with peaceful co-existence in the College community.

In his response, the acting Provost, thanked the HODs for always identifying with him and assured them that together they will continue to work hard to attain commendable level in the administration of the institution.
