Firm constructs ultra-modern toilet facility in Kwara school

As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) to people of its community, a cashew processing plant in Ilorin, Kwara state capital, Outspan Nigeria Limited, has constructed a six-block ultra-modern toilet facility for Ikotun Community High School.

The rural community school, located in the Oyun local government area of the state serves the educational needs of children in Ikotun community.

Speaking during the commissioning event, the factory manager (cashew) Outspan Nigeria Limited, Mr. Idris Ajibade, said that the toilet facility aims to improve sanitation, hygiene, and the overall conducive learning environment for over 500 students and teachers.

“We recognize the impact of quality education on community growth, economic development, and social mobility. This project is a sign of our dedication to sustainable development and the well-being of our host communities.

According to the sustainability head (cashew) Outspan Nigeria Limited, Miss Happiness Onyegbula, said, “We recognise the critical role education plays in empowering communities. This project demonstrates our dedication to supporting the growth and development of Nigeria’s future leaders”.

Also speaking, the Principal, Ikotun Community High School, Mr. Timothy Oluwole, expressed gratitude, saying, “This generous gesture will significantly enhance our students’ health, well-being, and academic
performance.
