APGA Candidate Accepts APC Victory in AMAC

The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the Abuja Municipal Area Council election, Eze Chukwu, has accepted the victory of the APC candidate, Christopher Maikalangu.

In a statement released in Abuja, Chukwu said he would not challenge the outcome, stressing that elections are meant to serve the people rather than personal ambition.

He described the poll as peaceful and orderly, noting that the calm recorded during the campaign and on election day represented progress for Nigeria’s democracy.

Chukwu congratulated the winner and urged him to govern with inclusiveness and fairness, emphasising that the council belongs to all residents regardless of political or ethnic affiliations.

He also thanked his supporters for conducting what he described as a disciplined campaign and encouraged citizens to remain actively involved in democratic processes.
