BREAKING: Fubara Dumps PDP, Declares for APC

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has officially broken ties with the Peoples Democratic Party and crossed over to the All Progressives Congress.

The governor made the declaration on Tuesday, citing the strong support Rivers State has continued to enjoy from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a major factor in his decision.
His move puts to rest months of political speculation, particularly suggestions that his defection was embedded in the peace understanding reached between him and the President.
