CP Eleman Vows Prompt Water Solution, Reinforces Discipline at Minna Police Training School

The Commissioner of Police for Niger State Command, CP Adamu Abdullahi Eleman, visited the Police Training School in Minna on July 2, 2025, where he assured the commandant, ACP Yunusa Wakili Isah, that the pressing water shortage would be resolved swiftly.

On a full day tour of the facility, CP Eleman addressed the 371 recruits undergoing training, emphasising the importance of discipline and adherence to drill routines. He commended the neat appearance and turnout of the recruits—despite the water challenges—and urged both instructors and trainees to remain focused and hardworking in preparation for their duties. Upon graduation, he reminded them that they would carry forth the values of the Nigeria Police Force as ambassadors in their respective posts.

ACP Wakili Isah received the CP warmly and shared that the intake began on April 12, 2025, and that recruits had completed both basic and intermediate examinations after three months of intensive training. He reiterated the school’s urgent need for a reliable water supply and appealed for immediate intervention.

In response, CP Eleman praised the commandant’s leadership and pledged that addressing the school’s water deficit would be a top priority. The visit reinforced the Commissioner’s commitment to not only enhancing operational standards but also improving basic infrastructure to support trainee welfare and training efficacy.
