Ebonyi monarch desolves school committees, innaugurates new executive

Following the incessant fire outbreak at the Izzikworo High school and the primary section, Central school Ukomenta Amagu/Amaezikwe the Traditional Ruler of the community, HRH, Igwe Augustine Ngwuta has desolved all standing committees in the both institutions and setup new executives.
The desolation took place at the premises of Izzikworo High School Ukomenta during a town hall meeting organized at the instance of the traditional ruler, Igwe Ngwuta. The was attended by the major stakeholders of the community including Chief Lazarus Ogbee, the immediate past member of the House of Representative that represented Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency.
Twelve-Man vigilante was also inaugurated to ensure the security of the school pending when government would respond to the community’s request, adding their stipend will be paid on the 24th of every month.
The traditional ruler informed the gathering that his palace in collaboration with the stakeholders of the community have become regular visitors at the Onueke police division and State Headquarters, solely to defend his subordinates: the two union presidents of the community; Chief cosmas Okenu and comrade Sunday Nwankoeze.
The Igwe who was visibly not happy expressed displeasure in the attitude of people of the area wondered why the criminal elements finds delight in attacking the schools now he is on the throne.
He added that the community has performed rituals according to tradition of Ezza people and very optimistic that in no distant time the culprit would present himself or herself to the community.
He cited the examples of such cases where perpetrators confessed before the community and was subsequently handed over to the police for necessary actions.
In his remarks, the former member who represented Ezza South/ Ikwo Federal Constituency, in the House of Representative, chief Lazarus Ogbee emphasized the need for parents to check on their children and monitor their movement from time to time as that would help them discover what attitudes they exhibit while outside the house.
He went down the memory lane to inform the people how the stakeholders worked tirelessly to sustain the unity of the two Communities through the establishment of the secondary section of the school.
He noted that the stakeholders at their levels have met and resolved to write to appropriate authorities concerned to ensure timely repairs of the edifice.
In their separate speeches, the president generals of the two communities, Chief cosmas Okenu and comrade, Sunday Nwankoeze promised to work in harmony with the newly inaugurated bodies so as to achieve the dreams and objectives of the communities.
Other stakeholders at the town hall meeting were, the two president generals of the community, Chief cosmas Okenu of Amagu and Comrade Sunday Nwankwoeze of Amaezikwe, present Councilor of Amaezikwe Ward, Ofobuike Nwoba and Former councilor, of Amagu /Nsokkara ward, Ikechukwu Ukpabia and a former supervisor, Awoke fidelis.
