In a show of appreciation for infrastructural advancements in Ishielu, Hon. Egbe Stephen Chinoso, the former House of Assembly aspirant for the Ishielu South constituency and the Special Assistant to the Ishielu Local Government Chairman on Youth Mobilization, commended Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for the ongoing construction of over 25 kilometers of concrete pavement roads linking the Ezilo and Ezzagu communities.

Hon. Egbe expressed his gratitude during a press briefing, highlighting the tremendous impact of the road project on the local community.

He noted that it would significantly improve transportation and accessibility, thereby fostering economic growth in the local Government.

“I want to commend His Excellency, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for the wonderful project he has initiated in my local government. The construction of the 25-kilometer concrete pavement road from Ezilo to Ezzagu is a commendable development,”

Egbe further informed that, as of now, 10 kilometers of the road have already been completed, reflecting the government’s commitment to infrastructural development in the area.

The youth leader extended his accolades to the Ishielu Local Government Chairman, Mrs. Peace Egwu, for her significant contributions to youth empowerment and community development since taking office.

“Her efforts in road constructions and various youth empowerment initiatives have set a benchmark for previous administrations. She has drilled boreholes across communities, providing access to clean water,” Hon. Egbe remarked.

He emphasized that Mrs. Egwu’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for residents in Ishielu is evident in her swift and effective execution of projects aimed at uplifting the youth. “What she has accomplished is what other local government chairmen have struggled to achieve for decades,” he added.

Former house of Assembly concluded by reiterating the importance of continued collaboration between the state and local government to foster development, particularly in youth-focused initiatives that address pressing community needs. The infrastructure projects, he believes, are just the beginning of a transformative journey for Ishielu local Government.
