Showmax’s newest Nigerian Original, Between Worlds, is now streaming exclusively on the platform, offering viewers an enthralling dive into a realm where past and present collide in a tale of power, destiny, and hidden truths.

This 10-episode epic centers around Lamide, a man thrust into a mysterious town called Ilu Arin, where he becomes entangled in an age-old struggle for dominance and secrets long buried.

The story begins with Lamide as a young boy, witnessing his mother’s downfall at the hands of fraudsters — a tragedy that leaves her ill and propels Lamide down a dark path of deception to survive. However, supernatural forces have been watching, and they’ve come to collect their due.

As the series unfolds, Lamide’s journey takes a drastic turn when he’s pulled into another realm, finding himself enslaved in a past world where he must confront powers beyond his understanding.

Created and executively produced by Emmanuel Uduma (MTV Shuga, School Run) and directed by Edward Uka, Tyrone Terrence, and Sola Roberts, Between Worlds features a stellar cast, including Femi Branch, Ropo Ewenla, Ifu Ennada, Olujide Sunday, Emmanuel Degiri, Laolu Loto, Taiwo Ola, and Oreofe Oguntola.

New episodes drop every Thursday, only on Showmax.
