El-rufai Son Lament Rift Between His father And Gov Uba Sani

A lawmaker representing Kaduna North in the House of Representatives Muhammad Bello El-Rufa’i who’s the son of former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufa’i, has expressed displeasure over the lingering impass between his father and Governor Uba Sani.

Bello El-rufai Lamented that even though his father El-rufai, was his number one role model, and Senator Uba Sani his Boss, reconciling them is not his responsibility.

According to him, his primary assignment is to give the people of Kaduna North quality representation, alleging that some people are happy seeing his father and the Governor engaged in conflicts like the legendary Bollywood actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra fighting.

Speaking in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service monitord over the weekend, Bello broke his silence for the first time over the impasse between his father and the governor.

He said if he decided to fight any course on social media, it would definitely be fierce as he had exemplified previously.

He stated that he is not happy with what is happening between former governor Nasir El-Rufa’i and the current governor of the state, Uba Sani, considering the role both played in his life.

According to him, “It is not pleasant for us, even if a person is my enemy, I do not want to see him fighting with another enemy of mine, I want peace.”

Bello also related the situation to how life could change at any time, saying “marriages break up, friends stop being friends, it’s just that friendships shouldn’t be left regardless of any kind of conflict.”

Bello said that he did not know what brought his father and his former boss (Uba Sani) together, adding that he did not expect them to quarrel with each other because he had never heard them coming out and insulting the other in his presence.

According to him, he does not even know if the fight they were allegedly in, was real as people were saying.

“None of them said anything to me about the crisis,” he said

Governor Uba Sani led government and Mal Nasir El-rufai had been at loggerhead following alleged misappropriation of N423 billion during the former’s tenure as governor of kaduna state for eight years and the probe of his regime through the commission of State Assembly Ad-hoc Committee investigating El-rufai regimes.
