Yoruba Community In Bauchi Sympathizes With Governor Mohammed Over Stepmother’s Demise

Members of the Yoruba Community in Bauchi State have expressed their condolences to Governor Bala Mohammed of the state over the recent death of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa Mohammed Duguri at the age of 120.

The President – General of the Yoruba community in the state, Special Apostle Segun Awofadeji who made this known in a condolence message on Wednesday, described Hajiya Hauwa as a role model and beacon of hope whose death is a great loss not only to the immediate family but to the State and Nigeria as a whole considering the number of leaders she was able to raise before her death.

He acknowledged the deceased’s pivotal role in nurturing the Governor who he described as “Distinguished Mr Project, workaholic and Indefatigable Governor”, Senator Bala Abdukadir Mohammed into an exemplary leader.

Apostle Awofadeji extended the sympathies of the Yoruba community to the people and government of Bauchi State.

According to him, “Death is inevitable, but the loss of a loved one is always painful, regardless of their age. We submit to the will of God that Mama’s time has come. All we can do is accept it as His will”.

Awofadeji then prayed God to grant her soul rest in Aljannah Firdausi and the family the fortitude to bear and endure the irreparable and profound loss, saying that the entire Yoruba Community in the State is with the Governor at this moment of grieve.
