    Dear Ambassador,

I would like to commend you on this significant milestone and your bold decision to convene key high-level stakeholders. Your initiative to focus on one of the major hubs of Nigeria’s economic output, particularly from the perspective of human resources, is both timely and strategic. Human resources remain our most vital asset, underpinning the progress of our nation.

I fully agree that the first critical step is identifying the foundational stakeholders and aligning their roles with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. From my experience, many similar initiatives have struggled to gain momentum due to a lack of clarity and the inability to translate the vision into actionable steps. This has often hindered the emergence of a cohesive group of reformers on both national and global platforms.

A key challenge, as noted by myself and others, is the absence of a clearly defined and visible roadmap. Such a roadmap should incorporate specific roles, collaborative efforts, and time-bound outcomes, while organically strengthening engagement nuances and building confidence. This is crucial for achieving the objectives of this partnership, alongside the Renewed Hope Agenda.

While I recognise that certain local limitations may pose delays, it is imperative that youth stakeholders are actively engaged—not merely as recipients of the initiative, but as active participants at the committee level. Their involvement is essential to ensure the timely and genuine delivery of impactful results. This journey must prioritise grassroots representation to enable a campaign that thrives on inclusivity and excellence. I firmly believe that you exemplify the leadership and strategic vision required to guide our nation and people towards collective progress.

I particularly appreciate the alignment of this initiative with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) framework, which bridges the gap between university graduates and new employees. This connection has the potential to inspire and mobilise young Nigerians in support of the SV-NED vision for future growth. By fostering a reformed mindset around value creation, this initiative can significantly contribute to wealth creation and national development.

I am happy to commit my resources to this mission by expanding the network for skills development and value creation. Through business excellence, innovation, and strong stakeholder management, I look forward to collaborating with or supporting you in achieving these transformative goals. While you may not feel the need to respond to this note, I trust that your kind consideration of these points would be highly laudable.

Yours sincerely, and wishing you a Happy New Year 2025,
    Jolapamo James
