Exercise Patience While We Work To End Hardship, Gov Bala Tells Bauchi People At Christmas

Senator Bala Abdukadir Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state has appealed for patience among the citizens of the state while his Government work tirelessly towards ending the current economic hardship in the state.

Mohammed who stated this in a Christmas goodwill message on Tuesday, expressed worries that the people who voted them to power are faced with hardships.

“We will not relent in this regard. I call on you all to continue to exercise patience, while we work towards ending the hardship”, he pointed out.

The Governor while felicitating with the Christian faithfuls on this year’s Christmas celebrations, said his administration is not unmindful of the current economic hardship being experienced by the generality of the people of Nigeria.

The Governor further noted: “Indeed, we are worried that the very people who gave us the mandate to formulate and implement policies for the betterment of their socio-economic wellbeing are being subjected to untold hardship”.

Bala Mohammed said as a subnational government, his administration is doing everything possible to ameliorate the hardship and make life meaningful to the all the citizens.

The Governor recalled that Bauchi state government under his stewardship has been providing palliative items to bring succor to the people.

“We will not relent in this regard. I call on you all to continue to exercise patience, while we work towards ending the hardship.

The Governor who appreciated the support of the christian Community to his administration since its inception, noted that his Government is striving as much as possible to reciprocate the gesture by embarking on policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of the people.

“With your continued support and understanding, all nooks and crannies of the State would benefit from our developmental programmes”, he declared.

He further said that the State Government is collaborating with security agencies to address real and perceived threats to security of lives and property of the citizenry.

According to the Governor, to achieve that, the Government is providing logistics and other support to the security Agencies for effective and efficient operation.

Governor Mohammed while wishing the Christian faithfuls a merry Christmas, prayed that the occasion will be observed peacefully.
