Ebonyi NANTMP Set To Bestow Chieftaincy Title On Deserved Personality

The chairman of the traditional medicine practitioners in Ebonyi state, Chief Ambassador Stella Amadi, has announced the organization’s intention to bestow chieftaincy title upon Ifere Polycarp as the Royal father of the National Association of Traditional Medicine Practitioners, Ebonyi state Chapter.

This announcement was made during a courtesy visit paid by the organization to Ifere Polycarp at his country home in Ezza South local government area of Ebonyi state recently.

Chief Ambassador Stella Amadi expressed the organization’s readiness to honor Ifere Polycarp for his contributions to the promotion and protection of traditional medicine practices in his capacity.

Chief polycarp ifere, who received the visit with great joy and appreciation, thanked the traditional medicine practitioners for the recognition and assured them of his continued support in advancing their cause. 

He emphasized the importance of traditional medicine in the healthcare system and promised to work towards the recognition and integration of traditional medicine practices into mainstream healthcare services.

The ceremony for the conferment of the chieftaincy title is expected to take place in the coming month, with members of the organization and other notable personalities in attendance.

 This gesture symbolizes the growing appreciation and acknowledgement of the role of traditional medicine in the state, and highlights the collaboration between traditional medicine practitioners and traditional rulers in promoting the well-being of the people.
